Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed relations between the two countries and the steps taken to end the Russian-Ukrainian war with his British counterpart, David Lammy.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, sources at the Turkish Foreign Ministry reported that the two Ministers' phone talks also addressed the latest developments in Syria, the situation between India and Pakistan, and other regional issues.
Earlier on Friday, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow is ready to hold a second round of negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul next Monday. Istanbul hosted peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine on May 15 and 16, which concluded with an agreement to exchange 2,000 prisoners between the two countries.
