Baghdad: Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, stressed the need to address all outstanding issues between Baghdad and Erbil through dialogue. Al-Maliki’s media office stated that he received Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein in his office to discuss political and security developments in the region, the importance of strengthening Iraq’s role at regional and international levels, and issues related to the government’s relationship with the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Maliki emphasized the importance of using dialogue to resolve outstanding issues to maintain political stability. He highlighted the need to create a common understanding that unites political forces and establish a new phase founded on political and security stability.
