President Rashid Calls for Unified International Efforts to Halt Wars Threatening Security

Baghdad: President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid emphasized the importance of consolidating international efforts to end conflicts that jeopardize regional and global security. During a meeting at al-Salam Palace with the Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq, Ahmed Samir, President Rashid highlighted the strong ties between Iraq and Egypt and the need to further develop these relations to benefit both nations and enhance regional peace.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Rashid stressed the significance of coordination and cooperation on mutual interests, advocating for a unified international stance to prevent wars that threaten the stability and future of the region’s people. He urged the prioritization of dialogue and political solutions to conflicts, aiming to preserve peace on both regional and global scales.

The Egyptian Ambassador, Ahmed Samir, expressed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with Iraq across various sectors. He commended President Rashid’s efforts to promote peace and stability in the region, reinforcing the collaborative spirit between the two countries.
