Naqoura: The Israeli army has confirmed that its navy executed a targeted strike on a Hezbollah Radwan Force military site located in the Naqoura area of southern Lebanon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Israeli military stated that the operation was carried out based on intelligence gathered by the Northern Command and the Israeli Navy. This intelligence was reportedly obtained, among other sources, following the interrogation of a Hezbollah operative by Unit 504 several weeks earlier.

The Israeli army emphasized that the targeted site was utilized by the Radwan Force for planning attacks against Israeli civilians, which they argue constitutes a clear breach of agreements between Israel and Lebanon. The military further asserted its commitment to continue operations aimed at neutralizing threats to Israel’s security.

Lebanese media outlets reported that the Israeli airstrike hit a room used as a fish shop near Naqoura’s port, resulting in significant damage to the premises. Although local sources confirmed there were no civilian casualties, the strike induced panic among residents due to the site’s proximity to residential and economically crucial areas.
