Baghdad: The Civil Defense teams have successfully extinguished a fire that erupted in several shops at the popular Mureidi Market in Sadr City, located to the east of Baghdad, during the early hours of Saturday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the blaze affected multiple commercial establishments within the market, prompting an immediate response from the Civil Defense units. The teams worked diligently to contain and extinguish the fire, preventing further damage and ensuring the safety of the surrounding area.
