The Dollar Prices Decline in Baghdad and Erbil as Stock Exchange Closes


Baghdad: The dollar exchange rate experienced a decline this evening in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil, coinciding with the stock exchange’s closure. The rates on the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges in Baghdad decreased to 143,500 dinars per $100, compared to the morning rate of 144,000 dinars.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the selling prices in the local markets of Baghdad also saw a decline, with the selling price reaching 144,500 dinars per $100 and the buying price at 142,500 dinars. In Erbil, the dollar recorded a similar downward trend, with the selling price reaching 143,600 dinars and the buying price at 143,400 dinars per $100.
