Baghdad: National Security Advisor Qassim Al-Araji received the Acting Qatari Charg© d’Affaires in Baghdad, Abdulaziz Al-Obaidan, on Saturday. During the meeting, a comprehensive review of the latest developments in the region was conducted, focusing on the ongoing war between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel. Discussions also centered on unifying positions regarding the escalating conflict in the region and the risks associated with its continuation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Araji emphasized Iraq’s steadfast position against the continued military escalation and the use of Iraqi airspace as a conduit for aggression against Iran or any neighboring countries. He stressed the importance of unifying international positions to bring an end to the conflict and protect the region from the adverse effects of its persistence.
