Trump Declares Successful Airstrike on Iranian Nuclear Facilities


Baghdad: US President Donald Trump announced, at dawn on Sunday, Baghdad time, the launch of an airstrike on nuclear sites in Iran.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump took to Twitter to confirm that a “very successful attack” was executed on three nuclear sites in Iran, specifically Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. He noted that all aircraft involved in the mission had exited Iranian airspace after releasing a full load of bombs on the primary target, Fordow. Trump assured that all aircraft returned safely and are now en route back to their bases.



In his tweet, Trump expressed gratitude towards the American military forces, stating, “Congratulations to our great American warriors. No military power in the world can do this.” He concluded his message with a call for peace, emphasizing that “now is the time for peace” and thanked the public for their attention to the developments.
