Al-Mandalawi Urges International Community to Avoid Double Standards Amid Rising Tensions

Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen al-Mandalawi has expressed strong condemnation of the recent US military attack on Iran, characterizing it as a blatant violation of international laws and norms. He described the action as an irresponsible escalation that threatens to destabilize the Middle East and potentially lead to a catastrophic war affecting the entire region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Mandalawi issued a statement on Sunday warning against the consequences of imposing foreign will on regional countries through force. He emphasized the importance of respecting state sovereignty and avoiding interference in the internal affairs of nations.

Al-Mandalawi also urged the international community to abandon its approach of double standards concerning Zionist and American actions in Arab and Islamic countries. He called for immediate and serious measures to prevent the situation from reaching an irreparable state, which could endanger both regional and global security.
