Tel Aviv: The Israeli army has announced a significant offensive, targeting six airports across Iran. This strategic attack marks an escalation in the ongoing efforts to assert air superiority in Iranian airspace.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) specified that the airports located in western, eastern, and central regions of Iran were targeted. The operations involved strikes on runways, underground hangars, a refueling aircraft, and various aircraft including F-14, F-5, and AH-1 models. The IDF’s statement noted that these aircraft were intended for operations against Israeli Air Force assets.

The Israeli military further claimed that these strikes have disrupted the operational capabilities of the Iranian Air Force from these locations, effectively paralyzing their ability to launch aircraft. This move is part of Israel’s broader strategy to curb potential threats and maintain control over the aerial landscape in the region.

In a related development, the Israeli army reported that over 15 Air Force warplanes executed a targeted mission in the Kermanshah region of Iran.
