Muqdadiyah: A contractor was killed by unknown gunmen in Muqdadiyah District, Diyala Governorate. A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) correspondent that unknown gunmen opened fire on a contractor as he was returning home in the Ramadiyah area of Muqdadiyah District, northeast of Baqubah, killing him instantly.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police force arrived at the scene and transferred the victim’s body to the forensic medicine department. An investigation has been opened to identify the perpetrators.
