Diyala: The Diyala Axis Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) has completed its security alert plan to safeguard the rituals on the tenth day of Muharram.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source revealed that the plan involves mobilizing more than 3,000 PMF members. These forces will be strategically deployed within the operational sectors of the Diyala Axis.

The source further explained that the security measures include the protection of Husseini processions, Husseiniyas, and mourning tents. Additionally, security belts will be established around shrines and religious sites, which are expected to see a significant influx of families during Ashura.

The security operations will be executed in collaboration with the Diyala Operations Command and other relevant security units.
