Kuala lumpur: Malaysia announced today its support for the French initiative aimed at reviving the two-state solution, calling for the delivery of aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during their meeting, French President Emmanuel Macron and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim reiterated their call for a ceasefire in Gaza and the delivery of aid to the residents of the Strip.

During the meeting, Macron affirmed his determination to continue his initiative for a two-state solution as soon as possible, stressing his commitment to holding an international conference to revive the two-state solution.

For his part, Anwar Ibrahim condemned the ongoing bombing and atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians, women, and children in Gaza, considering it “a shame for the international community to be unable to put an end to them.”

He also expressed his support for the French initiative for a two-state solution, and his support for efforts to find peace in the Middle East.
