Kirkuk: Security forces arrested today, Sunday, two suspects in an assault on the owner of a private generator in the Wahid Huzairan neighborhood in Kirkuk Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a video clip documenting the incident has circulated on social media. This footage played a crucial role in identifying the perpetrators and advancing the investigation.

Police Commander Major General Fattah al-Khafaji confirmed that detachments from the Justice Police Station began gathering information and obtained the approval of the investigating judge. They were able to arrest the suspects and detain them in accordance with the provisions of Article 413 of the Iraqi Penal Code. This swift action reflects the commitment of the local authorities to uphold law and order amidst rising concerns of public safety in the region.
