Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed that its air defense systems successfully intercepted 91 Ukrainian drones overnight in a large-scale operation spanning the country’s western provinces, Crimea, and the Black Sea.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the official statement from the Russian Defense Ministry detailed the distribution of the intercepted drones. Of the total, 20 drones were downed over Belgorod, 14 over Kursk, and 9 over Lipetsk. Additionally, 8 drones each were intercepted over Bryansk, Moscow Region, and Voronezh, while 7 were neutralized over the Black Sea. The statement further noted that 3 drones each were destroyed over Novorod, Tver, Tambov, and Leningrad, with 2 over Areol, and 1 each over Vladimir, Krasnodar Territory, and Crimea.
