Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani offered his condolences on Monday over the death of former Chairman of the National Investment Commission, Sami al-Araji.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Prime Minister expressed his sorrow over the passing of a national figure who was known for his contributions in various positions and posts he held. Al-Sudani acknowledged al-Araji’s role in the country’s achievements and commemorated his legacy of service.

Al-Araji was recognized for his leadership and influence in the National Investment Commission, which played a critical part in shaping Iraq’s investment landscape. His efforts were instrumental in driving forward the country’s development initiatives.
