Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani today welcomed Suzan Abdullah, the head of the General Authority for Monitoring the Allocation of Federal Revenues, to discuss methods to strengthen integrity in managing public funds.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office detailed the meeting’s focus on the Authority’s mechanisms and procedures for monitoring spending, implementing reforms, and ensuring financial stability. The discussions also emphasized enhancing transparency to secure the equitable distribution of resources among all Iraqis and strengthening financial oversight.
The session highlighted the Authority’s essential role in maintaining the national economy’s sustainability and ensuring fairness in allocations based on established priorities.
