Kirkuk: A joint force from the 16th Brigade of the Northern and East Tigris Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in coordination with the Iraqi Army, the Military Intelligence Directorate, and the Anti-Crime Directorate, carried out a qualitative security operation in an area of Kirkuk Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Popular Mobilization Forces stated in a statement that the operation, which took place in Al-Filaq area, resulted in the seizure of a number of unlicensed light weapons. This operation is part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability and pursue unlicensed weapons.

The statement explained that the joint forces continue to carry out their operations according to well-thought-out plans to maintain security and pursue outlaws.
