Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani emphasized the significance of university professors contributing their ideas and academic expertise to the development of the agricultural sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s media office revealed that al-Sudani met with a group of professors from the College of Agriculture at the University of Baghdad. The discussion centered on the educational situation in universities and the vital role faculty and academics play in societal development. The Prime Minister was briefed on the contributions of colleges of agriculture and the importance of scientific research in enhancing Iraq’s agricultural sector.
