Erbil: The Khormala oil field in Makhmur district, west of Erbil governorate, was targeted by two drones. The Security Media Cell announced that the attack occurred at 8:30 PM on July 14, 2025. The drones, whose origin remains unknown, inflicted material damage but resulted in no human casualties.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell has clarified that coordination is underway with the security and intelligence forces in the Kurdistan Region to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack. The focus remains on identifying the origins of the drones and preventing future incidents.
