Cairo: Egyptian, Qatari, and Israeli representatives have convened in Cairo to discuss the facilitation of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. The meetings, which include delegations from the three nations, aim to address crucial issues such as aid entry, patient evacuation, and the return of individuals stranded in Gaza.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions have shown progress and consensus on several humanitarian aspects of the ceasefire agreement. The meetings, ongoing for two days, are part of Egypt’s broader efforts to halt hostilities in Gaza and ensure sufficient aid reaches its residents.

On Monday, Egyptian General Intelligence chief Major General Hassan Rashad met with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, along with negotiators from the Israeli and Palestinian sides. These efforts are part of a regional initiative to bridge gaps and facilitate a ceasefire that guarantees humanitarian relief for Gaza’s people.

Informed Egyptian sources highlight the shared commitment of Egypt and Qatar to establish a ceasefire in Gaza. This includes enabling aid access and the release of prisoners from both sides, with Egyptian, Qatari, and American mediators working tirelessly to broker a sustainable agreement.
