Hillah: A joint force from the Intelligence and National Security has successfully apprehended a man wanted for murder in the Alexandria district, located north of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the suspect was captured during a carefully planned ambush in the Alexandria district. The individual is wanted under Article 446 of the Iraqi Penal Code for a murder committed three years ago.

The source further revealed that the suspect had previously been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing a man. Following his arrest, the police have transferred him to the relevant authorities for further processing.
