Hilla: The Civil Defense Directorate in Babil Province announced on Friday that three people, including a woman, were injured in a gas tanker explosion in the city of Hilla.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Aqeel Abdullah, Director of Civil Defense Media in Babil, stated that the explosion occurred while a woman was driving a Land Cruiser near the scene, resulting in her injury along with two others. He added that civil defense teams quickly responded to the incident, extinguished the fire, and evacuated civilians from the area to ensure their safety.

The injured were transported to Hilla Surgical Hospital for treatment.
