Baghdad: The Iraqi Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) confirmed the impossibility of oil smuggling due to effective coordination with security agencies.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, SOMO stated that an official document addressed to security agencies outlines a well-thought-out and solid work routine. This document has been issued multiple times over the past years.

SOMO further explained that the document categorizes visible tankers into two groups. The first group includes tankers known to have tampered with their location and are considered dangerous. The second group consists of unknown tankers that may also have been tampered with.
