Baghdad: The exchange rate of the U.S. dollar against the Iraqi dinar recorded a slight increase on Monday morning in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the opening rates at Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad showed the dollar was traded at 139,800 dinars per $100, compared to 139,550 dinars recorded on Sunday morning.
Local currency exchange offices in Baghdad also reflected this upward trend, with the selling price reaching 140,750 dinars per $100, while the buying price stood at 138,750 dinars.
In Erbil, a similar increase was observed, with the selling price at 139,800 dinars and the buying price at 138,800 dinars per $100.
