Tel aviv: Israeli media reported on Friday that the Israeli army successfully intercepted a drone after it infiltrated Israeli airspace in the southern region. Channel 13 and the Israeli Army Radio stated that the drone had been launched from Yemen, noting that aerial interception operations were carried out in the Gaza Envelope area.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, sources added that the Israeli Home Front Command confirmed the interception operation was ongoing, with several defensive missiles fired in an attempt to bring down the drone. Later, Israeli media reported that the army had successfully shot down the drone that had entered Israeli airspace.
