Maysan: The Maysan Governorate Police Command announced today the arrest of the third suspect in the case of the murder of a child and the injury of citizens, following an armed brawl that occurred in the Al-Kahla district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security force from the Al-Kahla Police Department conducted a qualitative operation after a series of investigative measures and field surveillance. This operation led to the identification of the suspect’s location, culminating in his arrest after authorities stormed his home.

The Command further revealed that the suspect is wanted under the provisions of Article (406) of the Iraqi Penal Code, which pertains to the crime of premeditated murder. The suspect has been transferred to the security detention center, where legal proceedings will be completed in accordance with the law.
