Amara: The Maysan Governorate Police Command announced this evening that the body of a young man was discovered inside a sewer in the Al-Majidiya area, following a motorcycle accident the previous evening.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the police command stated that their security detachments promptly initiated procedures after receiving the report of the incident. The body was recovered and examined by forensic experts, who determined that the young man had not been assaulted or shot, countering rumors that suggested he had been murdered.

The police command further mentioned that the incident was deemed an act of fate, emphasizing that the deceased’s family did not wish to file a complaint. The necessary legal and procedural steps were completed in response to the incident.
