Diyala: A joint security force executed a raid and search operation in the Al-Mita Basin, positioned on the border between the governorates of Diyala and Salah al-Din. The operation was strategically carried out from three different axes to ensure thorough coverage of the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the security operation involved the search of four extensive agricultural areas. The main objective was to secure these locations and eliminate any potential sleeper cells. Explosive ordnance disposal teams were also deployed to meticulously comb the agricultural roads as a precautionary measure against any unforeseen emergencies.
