Baghdad: Two suspects have been arrested in Baghdad, one for the crime of burning a vehicle and the other for possession of narcotics. The arrests were made by the Baghdad Rusafa Police Command with the assistance of the Al-Amin Police Department and Al-Malab Police Station.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the suspect involved in the vehicle arson was apprehended less than 24 hours after the incident occurred. Upon receiving information about the crime, a task force was formed, and surveillance cameras were monitored to identify the perpetrator. The suspect was subsequently arrested, and the vehicle used in the incident was seized. The individual confessed to the crime when confronted with evidence.

The operations continued with the First Rusafa Emergency Regiment and the Rusafa Narcotics Bureau working together to arrest another suspect found in possession of narcotic substances, specifically crystal meth. This arrest was part of ongoing security efforts by the Baghdad Al-Rusafa Police Command to combat drug-related activities and limit their spread. Both suspects have been handed over to the competent authorities for further legal processing.
