Jeddah: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein and Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi affirmed unified positions to serve the just cause of the Palestinian people.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the affirmation came during a meeting on the sidelines of the extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The two officials discussed joint efforts regarding the Palestinian issue, highlighting the importance of aligning positions to advance the cause.

The Iraqi Foreign Minister expressed gratitude towards Qatar for its active participation in the Arab Summit hosted by Baghdad, noting that such engagement underscores the robust fraternal relations between Iraq and Qatar. The statement further emphasized both nations’ commitment to strengthening and developing bilateral relations across various domains to serve the common interests of their people.
