Khan yunis: The Israeli army killed Palestinian international runner Allam Abdullah Al-Amour on Wednesday after shooting him while trying to reach humanitarian aid in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. According to National Iraqi News Agency, family sources reported that Al-Amour "was martyred by Israeli army gunfire near what are known as American aid centers while trying to obtain food in the southern Gaza Strip." Al-Amour was recognized for his athletic achievements, notably winning the bronze medal in the West Asian Athletics Clubs Championship for Youth in the 3,000-meter race, which took place in Doha, Qatar, in March 2023.
