Basra: The head of the Agriculture, Water, and Marshlands Committee, MP Faleh Al-Khazali, has issued a warning about the escalating salt water crisis impacting the region of Basra. This crisis has led to significant damage for both farmers and livestock breeders in the area.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, an official document reveals that Al-Khazali has urged the government to address this pressing issue by placing it on the agenda of the Council of Ministers. Additionally, he has called for urgent compensation for those affected by the crisis.
