Baghdad: The Iraqi National Security Agency has successfully conducted a series of targeted security operations across multiple provinces, leading to the seizure of vast amounts of smuggled and illegal goods.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operations resulted in the confiscation of 48 tons of smuggled chicken in Anbar and 3,640 cartons of prohibited food items, along with 3,650 live chickens lacking veterinary health certificates in Diyala. Additionally, attempts to smuggle 17 tons of aluminum in Kirkuk and 400 smuggled motorcycles in Baghdad were foiled.

The agency confirmed that all the seized items and suspects have been handed over to the competent judicial authorities after securing the necessary court approvals.
