Sulaymaniyah: The Head of the National Intelligence Service, Hamid Al-Shatri, made a significant visit to Sulaymaniyah on Saturday. During his visit, he met with the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Bafel Talabani, and several key security and political leaders. The primary focus of these discussions was on strategies to bolster security and stability in the governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shatri conveyed directives from Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, who also serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. The directives highlighted the importance of supporting ongoing security efforts and enhancing stability within Sulaymaniyah. Al-Shatri reaffirmed the government’s dedication to closely monitoring the security situation in the region to ensure peace and order.
