Tianjin: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will participate in the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit of Heads of State and Government, which will be held in the Chinese city of Tianjin tomorrow, Sunday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Turkish Presidential Communications Director Burhaneddin Duran stated in a statement on his account on the Turkish NSosyal platform that Erdogan will visit Tianjin tomorrow, Sunday, to participate in the SCO Summit.

Duran indicated in his statement that Erdogan’s visit to China comes at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping to participate as a guest of honor at the 25th SCO Summit of Heads of State and Government, which will be held in Tianjin on Sunday and Monday.

He said: “As part of the visit, Erdogan will deliver a speech at the expanded session of the summit the day after tomorrow, Monday. President Erdogan will also hold bilateral meetings with a number of leaders, most notably his host (Chinese) counterpart, Xi Jinping.”
