Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein stressed the importance of “Baghdad International Energy Forum” for Iraq, OPEC, and the countries of the region. Hussein stated that the forum addresses the energy file and its sectors, including oil, gas, and alternative energy, with a significant presence of oil specialists and officials from various countries to exchange views and reach important recommendations, particularly those related to environmental challenges and linking energy to these challenges.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hussein highlighted that the forum is concerned with examining mechanisms and ensuring the success of their solutions. He noted that Baghdad is the main center from which OPEC was founded, emphasizing the significance of the forum as an important event for Iraq, Baghdad, and OPEC.
