Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met today with a delegation from the Association of Restaurant Owners in Baghdad, accompanied by the President of the Iraqi Industries Union. The meeting aimed to address the pressing challenges facing the restaurant sector in the capital.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the delegation provided an overview of the current state of the restaurant industry, highlighting critical issues such as foreign labor and stringent health-related procedures enforced by the Ministry of Health. These challenges have been significant hurdles for restaurant owners, impacting their operations and growth.
Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the crucial role that restaurants play in enhancing the national economy.
