Washington: U.S President Donald Trump said on Monday that he believes an agreement regarding the Gaza Strip can be reached soon. Trump told reporters: “We are working on a solution that could be very good… We are trying to end the situation, return the hostages, and we had very good discussions… Positive things could happen.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hamas confirmed on Sunday evening that it is ready to sit at the negotiating table to discuss the release of all prisoners in exchange for a clear declaration of an end to the war and a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
