Baghdad: Sirens blared in the vicinity of the Dimona nuclear reactor as a drone, reportedly launched from Yemen, breached Israeli airspace. The Israeli army detected the drone in the Wadi Araba area, situated south of the Dead Sea, raising alarms and prompting air raid sirens in the Ramon Airport region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the sirens did not cease, continuing to echo through the southern Negev Desert, particularly near the Dimona nuclear site. The Israeli air force responded swiftly, managing to intercept the drone, which was identified as originating from Yemen.
Concurrently, air raid alerts persisted in several other areas, indicating ongoing security concerns and heightened military activity in response to the drone incursion.
