Basra: Basra Police Command announced today the arrest of four suspects involved in drug use and trafficking, seizing narcotics and weapons in their possession.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the command stated that its units arrested two suspects accused of promoting narcotic substances, seizing five strips of narcotic pills, in addition to two Kalashnikov rifles with ammunition.

It added that another force carried out a separate operation, which resulted in the arrest of two more suspects in possession of three grams of crystal meth.
