Baghdad: The Military Intelligence Directorate has successfully apprehended five terrorists, including a woman, in the Iraqi capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate announced in a statement that these arrests were the result of separate, targeted operations carried out in collaboration with various security agencies. The detained individuals had outstanding arrest warrants issued under Article (1/4 of Terrorism).

The statement detailed the operations, noting that three terrorists were captured in the southern part of Baghdad within the 17th Infantry Division’s jurisdiction. Another individual was apprehended in the north of the city under the 6th Infantry Division, while the female suspect was arrested in the western region of the capital, managed by the Baghdad Operations Commando Brigade.
