Al-Sudani and Sisi Discuss Regional Developments Post-Zionist Attack on Qatar


Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani engaged in a phone conversation with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Thursday evening to discuss recent regional developments following the Zionist attack on Qatar.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the call, both leaders deliberated on the evolving situation in the region, particularly after the attack on Qatar. They underscored the necessity of activating joint Arab and Islamic action mechanisms to address challenges, halt the ongoing conflict affecting civilians in Gaza, and denounce Zionist assaults targeting Arab nations.



The conversation further highlighted the importance of aligning positions and maintaining continuous consultations to devise suitable decisions and achieve a unified stance at the upcoming Arab and Islamic summit in Doha next Monday.
