Baghdad: The Baghdad Operations Command has initiated a security operation in the Al-Basateen neighborhood, located east of the capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation involves units from the Fifth Federal Police Division and Baghdad Rusafa Police Command. These units are being supported by various intelligence agencies and their affiliated entities. The command has assured that further details regarding the operation will be provided at a later stage.
