Baghdad: The UN Security Council condemned the recent Israeli attacks in the Qatari capital, Doha.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, Council members expressed their deep regret over the deaths of civilians as a result of the attacks. The statement emphasized the necessity of de-escalation and reiterated the importance of supporting the sovereignty of the State of Qatar.

Council members also affirmed their support for the critical role played by Qatar in mediation efforts within the region, highlighting the need for continued diplomatic engagement to maintain stability and peace.
