Baghdad: The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayyadh, and the Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, have emphasized the importance of security readiness in addressing any potential challenges facing the nation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Fayyadh’s media office released a statement indicating that the two leaders convened to discuss the current political and security landscape in the country. The meeting underscored the necessity of continued coordination between state institutions and national forces to bolster the country’s stability and effectively confront any emerging security challenges.

Al-Fayyadh reiterated the PMF’s commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities in alignment with the constitution and the law. He highlighted the PMF’s dedication to meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people and honoring the sacrifices of martyrs in their pursuit of national security and stability.
