Istanbul: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that those harboring the illusion of a Promised Land must understand there is no place for terrorism or expansion based on terrorism in the future of the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Erdogan made these remarks during a speech at a ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) event in Istanbul. He emphasized the strength of unity, stating that the centuries-old brotherhood among Turks, Arabs, and Kurds has the capability to thwart conspiracies and overcome challenges.

Erdogan highlighted the shared history of living together for a thousand years and expressed confidence in continuing this unity under the same sky. He condemned the redrawing of regional borders with violence and stated that Turkey will not permit the resurgence of the ‘divide and rule’ policy.

The Turkish President stressed that the country is steadfastly moving toward a terrorism-free future. He noted that attempts to manipulate Turkey’s policies through terrorism are futile, and reaffirmed Ankara’s commitment to its current approach without any retreat.
