Baghdad: Baghdad Operations Command issued a clarification today regarding the drone that crashed in the Green Zone in Baghdad. The command stated in a statement that it “would like to clarify to the public that the drone that crashed within the perimeter of the Green Zone was a drone intended for photography purposes only.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the command confirmed that “it fell due to a technical malfunction,” calling on “all media outlets to be accurate in reporting information and to avoid rumors.”
