Baqubah: A joint security force arrested three suspects involved in extorting civilians in an ambush northeast of Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate. A security source revealed that the operation was carried out through intelligence efforts to dismantle a network of individuals targeting civilians in Khanaqin.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the security operation successfully led to the apprehension of three suspects linked to the extortion activities. These individuals were taken into custody during the ambush and have been transferred to a security center for further investigation.
