Al-Fayyadh Discusses Enhancing Security Cooperation With Iranian Police Commander-In-Chief


Baghdad: The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, Faleh al-Fayyadh, engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing security cooperation with Ahmed Reza Radan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Police. The meeting took place in Baghdad and was attended by senior officials including Chief of Staff Abdul Aziz al-Muhammadawi and Secretary-General Lieutenant General Tahseen Abdul Matar, along with several leaders of the Popular Mobilization.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on ways to enhance security cooperation between Iraq and Iran. The talks also covered mechanisms for developing joint coordination to address security challenges effectively. Al-Fayyadh highlighted the necessity of improving intelligence cooperation and the exchange of information, emphasizing that these measures are crucial for strengthening the security of the shared borders and ensuring their stability against potential terrorist threats.
